What Will I Do During My Stay at Plas Uchaf Farm Shepherd's hut?
During your stay at Plas Uchaf, you’ll step into a slower rhythm of life. Start your morning with coffee beside the restored farm pond, watching the mist lift over the hills. Wander through our ancient Welsh woodlands and picnic among wildflowers in our meadow. Take a scenic walk up to Mynydd y Gaer hillfort, where sweeping views of Eryri and the North Wales coast reward your efforts. If you're feeling adventurous, hop on a bike and follow quiet country lanes to our local village for a pint or homemade dessert. Back at the farm, relax in the 17th-century walled garden, listen to birdsong, and meet our friendly sheep. As night falls, stoke the firepit and relax under the stars, and reconnect with the calm that comes from countryside living.

We’re Kerrie and Bleddyn Jackson, sixth-generation custodians of Plas Uchaf, a traditional Welsh hill farm in Llannefydd, Conwy . For over 150 years, our family has cared for this land, and today we’re combining heritage and heart to offer more than just a place to stay.

Our journey blends history with hope: from tending sheep on open hills to restoring wildflower meadows, replanting woodlands, and reopening the gates to our 17th-century walled garden. Every guest stay helps us preserve this landscape for future generations.
