Get to Know Us
We are Kerrie and Bleddyn, the 6th generation of sheep farmers at Plas Uchaf ("Upper Hall"), stewarding a Grade II* listed house and an under restoration 'Parks and Gardens' listed walled garden in Llannefydd.
Centuries of Heritage:

1500s–1700s: Seat of the noble Wynne family, linked to Ruthin’s Nantclwyd y Dre and High Sheriff Edward Wynne (1711).

1800s–1940s: Our family arrived as tenant farmers. During WWII, the attics housed POWs and evacuees while the garden grew food for the war effort.

2019–2023 Restoration: Supported by CADW, we restored the ancient woodlands, farm pond, ha-ha terrace, and historic walled garden.

The Garden
Relax in our historic garden, one of only 23 listed in Conwy. Currently being lovingly restored, this private sanctuary offers the perfect spot for an early morning coffee or a sunny afternoon with a book or two. Watch deer graze the mountain and buzzards circle the summit.
