The income from our stay helps us continue the work of caring for Plas Uchaf, from the historic walled garden and old farm buildings to the pond, orchard, woodland and wider landscape.
Much of the work is practical, gradual and done simply because we want to see this place cared for and enjoyed for generations to come.
An old farm, still evolving.
Plas Uchaf is a historic Grade II* listed Welsh stone gentry farmhouse and Grade II listed walled garden, set on a 170-acre working sheep farm.
Dating back to the 1500s–1600s, it was long the seat of the Wynne family (including Edward Wynne, High Sheriff in 1711) before our family's arrival in the 1800s
